Youth who have acute or chronic medical illness are at greater risk for mental health concerns. That’s why our pediatric psychology team is here to provide short-term mental health consultation and treatment to patients with internal referrals and seen through ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s pediatric subspecialty practices.
Whether it’s treating medical conditions using behavioral approaches or addressing psychological symptoms related to a medical diagnosis or treatment, our specialists offer comprehensive behavioral health care alongside a child’s medical treatment. As part of a broad network of care for kids, our experts collaborate with medical providers, both inpatient and outpatient, to support children’s mental and behavioral health care needs.
