Personal Statement

Every individual’s journey to pain relief is unique and can be isolating at times. I believe that it is important to take the time to listen, understand, and collaborate with patients to create personalized strategies that address the root causes of pain. My goal is to empower patients with the tools and knowledge needed to restore function and regain quality of life.

Biographical Info

Dr. Tiffany Lin is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University and her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at The University of Chicago Medical Center and fellowship training in pain management at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Her clinical practice includes outpatient and inpatient interventional pain management, acute and chronic pain consultation, general anesthesia, and obstetric anesthesia. She is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology, actively involved in resident and fellow education.

Dr. Lin’s academic interests include hypermobility, soft tissue pain, low-dose naltrexone, and peripheral neuromodulation. Her research has been published in Nature Neuroscience, Pain Medicine, and other peer-reviewed journals. She serves as a reviewer for the British Journal of Anaesthesia and has contributed to academic textbooks on pain medicine.

In addition to her institutional teaching, Dr. Lin is a frequent speaker and educator at national and international conferences, where she provides hands-on instruction in ultrasound-guided pain procedures and lectures on neuromodulation and pharmacologic innovations in chronic pain management. She is also engaged in community outreach through educational webinars and podcasts focused on chronic pain conditions, treatment options, and patient empowerment.
